Taxiway Reconstruction near Runway 35

Project Summary

The existing asphalt pavement on the existing taxiway was experiencing deterioration and structural failure, so it was removed and the subgrade excavated. The subgrade was modified 8” thick with fly ash, and covered with an 8” layer of aggregate base. An 8” layer of asphalt was placed on the aggregate base. The project included new striping and markings.

Services Provided

Design survey, engineering report, bidding and negotiating phase, engineering during construction, construction staking, resident project representative services, and FAA and Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission grant administration services.
